I mean, her popularity in the US is fantastic and something that the vast majority of prospective pop gurrls can only dream of. But she doesn't measure up to her peers (Gaga, Katy, Rih, Bey, Brit) worldwide. And I wish she did.

Of course she's interesting enough to be a WW superstar. Just because DY isn't that global doesn't maker her 'interesting enough'. Probably with the next singles from Warrior she will become more global. But yeah I don't really mind her dominating just her main music markets

Tik Tok was a massive worldwide hit (2nd biggest song of 2010 in Europe), and she's had many lesser hits aswell, so Ke$ha is known worldwide for sure.

And I don't think it's even about being "interesting", because you get boring people like Taio Cruz and Flo Rida having massive worldwide success at least with singles.

The only markets she needs to improve in are Europe and Japan. This could easily be done if she actually tried to break these markets

Ke$ha may not be as successful in comparison the other pop girls, but we have to remember that she has more hits and album sales than a majority of other artists in pop music. There are so many people bellow her in the rankings. We should be proud of Ke$ha for her achievements. She is a star.
