Now although my favorite Collin didn't nab the win, as other posts have stated this was a fierce top 3. Boyonce, I mean you are already an established act on atrl whose force cannot be messed with. Collin I'm glad you had the potential to win even with you statistical underdog player in this contest.

Congrats Edge! In my mind, you whole heartedly deserve this in. You were able to show your trademark qualities, but also opened up beyond that - and everything we saw from you showed us how much of a Top Member you really are. I'm glad you've got this title, it's well deserved. Congrats to you!

Collin. What can I say about you? In a matter of months, you've gone from unknown to a FINALIST in Top Member. That says it all right there. You're a force to be reckoned with, and I know we'll be seeing a lot of quality stuff from you on ATRL for many years to come. I really really really hope you feel proud of yourself...you should.

Matty - sometimes as a contestant I felt like finishing these entries was such a time commitment. I can only imagine how YOU felt, having to do all the planning, posting, judging, etc. You've poured a huge amount of time and effort into this game, therefore allowing US to have a good time. You're a selfless guy, and I thank you for all the hard work this Cycle. Now take a break!!!

Judges - thanks for giving up your time. Whether you judged weekly or just once or twice, that time commitment is still appreciated. I know how work/school can sometimes get in the way, but it was nice to see you guys balancing it all in ways that worked for you. Thanks for all the comments....everyone who has judged us is a poster I think we could all be a little more like, so I'm not forgetting your comments now that the Cycle's done. I take it all to heart and keep working at being a better poster.

Other contestants: Love, love, love you all. For some of us, it was hard to get along within the confines of the game. With my initial winning of challenges, jealousy fired up and I got a bit of a target on my back. That being said, I stil think you're all cool people and look forward to getting to know you even better now that we're not competing. See you around!

And as for me - I'm not disappointed! I'm thrilled to have even made it this far. I think I achieved what I wanted to achieve in this competition, and I've learned lots about my own posting too. Personally, my criteria for a successful day is: Did I have fun and did I learn something new? I can say YES to both of those questions about my time here in ATRL's Next Top Member. It was one of my fave things I've ever done here, and I won't forget it!

I don't know whether to or . Regardless of your refusal to see how well the Bey gif works in shady situations, I appreciate your passion. I liked the avatar entry, as it gave us insight into both your fascination with Gaga and even a little bit of your own personal life. The artist promo was solid enough, looking like what a normal promo thread would like on ATRL. The last two entries are wunderbar. The GIF entry mixes both a funny GIF with some cute examples and a good explanation of both the inner and outer workings of the gif. And the music taste entry is truly something else. It's one of the most unique entries in the history of ANTM. It's almost too good for ATRL. You didn't include a lot of explanation, but you didn't have to. In one sentence, you explained everything. The music and the backdrop are just the strawberry and the icing on the cake.

BASED ON OVERALL:
I saw you as the biggest threat to boyonce after a couple of challenges, and I was proven right...sometimes. There were times that you let your creativity and wonder get the best of you, just as it did Evun during the last cycle. I mean, the Song Interpretation entry...what the hell was that?! It's hard to believe that the same person that wowed me with the GIF and music taste entries follows those up with one hell of a messy entry. It just made no sense to me. You're so much better than that. Your biggest problem throughout this cycle was yourself. You had it in you to be the best in every challenge, but there were just times where you let yourself get...perhaps TOO ambitious. It's okay to be ambitious and it's especially okay to be creative, but you have to know how to control it. The reason Evun wowed us to the point that he won the last cycle is because he learned how to control those ambitions. They can be wonderful to you if done correctly, but they can be an eliminator if they get out of control. The final speech, thankfully, allowed you to get back to being you and not an overly ambitious soul, and that was always where you seemed to shine the most. When you were just yourself, you dominated the competition. I just feel that you could have done even more.

This is such a disgustingly accurate portrait of my journey/me that I currently have goosebumps. Even though you may have been absent for the majority of the game, you seem to have figured out the competitors with absolute ease. You are right. I was overly ambitious with my entries, some smashing, some flopping. As for the song interpretation, I guess Evun and I ran on the same wavelength as satirical freaks. And with all that, I am thankful that you managed to see that I had it in me to be Top Member.

boyonce and collin, the struggle was real and an extreme pleasure. With the competition drawing to a close, the gaps between us got smaller and smaller but y'all hung on for dear life and gave me a run for my money. It wasn't cute how y'all wouldn't just give up and hand me the title, but it made the competition that much more enthralling. BECAUSE of how fierce of competitors y'all turned out to be, the victory meant so much more. To be competing with two of the elite...the other ATRLers could NEVA.

boyonce, you were always so level headed and dished out nothing but professional entries/responses. They were 99% always a clear home run and your track record proves that. Without a doubt, you were my biggest threat and I'm honored to have battled with you. As everyone has already said, you already are a top member.

collin, I honestly didn't imagine you in the final 3 but looking back on the challenges, your track record was astonishingly solid. Never the top call out but almost always towards the top of the pack showing your consistency. You've managed to pull the underdog card (which I though was Energy at one point) and came so far and I'm proud of you. I've even seen your "Stop" gif being utilized by some of the established members on this site so you're def making your mark. Congrats.

In all honesty, I knew the results were happening last night but decided to not watch the results show sober in fear of the results. The ultimate call out could have been anybody's victory and I decided to go get stoned before watching. Fail on me for falling asleep with a huge bag of jelly beans under my pillow. With that said, YASSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! I won cycle 8! Just like how Jaslene Gonzalez from Chicago, Illinois represented and won ANTM Cycle 8, EdgeOfAddiction from Chicago, Illinois represented and won ANTM Cycle 8. Thank you judges and thank you competitors for making this cycle a blast; it wouldn't have been this interesting if any of you were missing. It's been too fun. All the other games seem basic now.
