There's definitely a lot of rock in here around the synths and beats. But that's the interview where Kesha said she wanted to make it way more pop but was like "I wanted radio hits too and that's all dance music". But songs like thinking of you have a good rock influence in the verses and then to all electro pop in the chorus and some techno on the bridges and it all works out like I don't understand it.
My favorite genres are rock, southern rock, alt rock, rap, indie, country etc and this takes it all and puts it in a blender then layers it over some mainstream dance beats.

Yeah I can believe it either its like every so often he pulls good crap out of his ass. But he also worked with Benny Blanco and Cirkut on some things so who knows which one of those yahoos came up with the good parts of the production. There's some clear "ugh Dr Luke" songs on this album and some "sooooo who's work did Dr Luke crib and pass off as his own because damn this is awesome!" Idgi. You can tell they spent all their time this last year on this album though.
And I hate Dr Luke with every fiber of my being so I hate admitting I like some of this stuff every so often. FML.
