I'm not talking about twitter rants but for her music because at the beginning of the era she would curse a reviewer out for calling her pop. Now she accepts that she did go pop and is transitioning back to urban since she branded herself on a WW and noticed that the overseas people were bopping to her urban stuff more than they were to her pop stuff.
She really just needs to not go POP again.
She can go Hip POP but not too extreme. She went too extreme and won in one sense but lost in another.
She has shown that she can do commercial rap whether it is more on the bubblegum side or on the urban side (Superbass, Dominoes, Muny, Fly, Moment for life, Blazin, Blow ya mind, Champion, Fireburns, save me, Va va voom, Hell Yeah, I'm legit etc. these songs could be played on top 40.
She just needs to do straight urban, r&b and hip POP that will get multi format play and she will be good next era

I agree w/ you. We can't make her something she isn't it's so freaking clear that Nicki has ALWAYS had bubble gum influences. look at her mixtapes. Nicki is girly. there is no way around it. Her music isn't ever really going to appeal to 30+ year old "hip hop heads" to them she's always been too pop. I say oh well. I love Nicki's cross over music more than most people. Muny is a straight up jam in my book, but that's just me.
To think that Nicki Minaj never went pop would be stupid though. She wasn't even slick about it. Just because she had a sub par album doesn't mean she's sub par. she will come back. I hated 808's. In fact I don't even have the album on my Itunes. Kanye came back, so can Nicki. She just needs a better team behind her. tbh

This was just posted on facebook. I'm happy people are commenting saying Nicki would still be here, because she has talent . Like don't get me wrong, Left Eye was good, but so were all of the other countless females the industry has run through...

It's CLEAR she raps so fast on I'm Legit to show that AB isn't the only one who can speed rap. I truly think so.

I agree. like come on now, Nicki isn't concerned about AB. knowing Nick she's probably only ever heard like 3 songs from her.
same way people think every diss nicks spits is aimed at kim.

Hell Yeah needs to be an anthem. Tbh is anyone really looking forward to another video off PFRR?
I feel like the TRU ***** on it and any pop song she release will just water down this step forward. Like If she releases Whip it, it would be horrific.

Is that what the ReUp debuted with in the States? If so I'm happy, I was expecting 15K.

If she was being praised you all would be "oh, the queen opening lanes" Nicki came in the game with more people against her than any other female. Nicki has always gotten hate, now that she has more exposure that hate is seen more easily. Even her mixtape songs get tons of hate.
TRU which is great IMO, is getting tons of hate. I mean those songs are just as good as Mix Tape songs if not better... Nicki's problem is her team. they're to ignorant to be proactive about the hate. she should be building up her public image, not making it seem like she's a cut throat, money hungry business woman. Nicki is too talented and smart to go down in flames.
She needs to ditch YMBC, or revamp it all which leads me to this photo she posted on twitter...

Yeah. It's actually pretty good considering it was only for sale @ FYE & Best Buy & it wasn't sold as a seperate EP.
