yep, it's only one hour, thankfully wouldn't want to have to deal with a proper jet lag when going over there.

not really, I wish but I've been to Wales twice during the last two years, and I might go again next year as well as spend 6 months in the UK during winter 2013/14 (I have to spend a semester abroad for uni).

I'm considering doing a year abroad when I go to uni, it could be great.

I was visiting friends both times so I've only met nice people there

it definitely seems like it could be a great experience, I just hope it'll all work out because I feel like my university is not very supportive

That's even worse when your uni isn't overly supportive. I'd advise that you try and get everything finalised as early as possible.

I heard universities in the UK are much more helpful when it comes to going abroad so hopefully it will be easier for you

A lot of unis here encourage it. I'm undecided though.

I'm thinking of doing my masters straight after so I might not be able to go abroad, but I'll check it out anyway. I think places like America are part of the main focus for UK unis so that'd be pretty cool!
