The only time Slaymin looked bad with long hair was during the lucifer era
Longhairmin slaying
But instead of arguing, what's y'all favorite Taemin hairstyle?
@KD Both are great! It really depends on your taste, Shut Up is more "Bad Guy and Good Girl" style and Heartstrings is more "Cool/Mysterious Guy and Clumsy Girl" style.

I've been hearing about Onew's depression a lot lately too, it's kinda worrying. Maybe it's just me but I feel like things are darker for SHINee behind the scenes than is let off, especially this year.

SHINee wouldn't be the same without him, he's not like Minho that could leave and they wouldn't even know he was there in the first place. He even sings my favorite part of 'Lucifer'. Plus, he's the BIGgest of the SHINee members. and then reading that SHINee might be disbanding soon? I hope that its not true because I like them a lot and I think that they have great things ahead.
Only for me to discover that the girl Hwayoung that T-ara left was the one that did that did that infectious rap in Day By Day—the only part that hasn't gotten old.

Really? That's quite odd. I've never heard of rumors like that for Shinee. Onew's my main bias so I'm kinda worried for him if that's true.

I've read somewhere that SM has just really abandoned SHINee because their fanbase size didn't meet their expectations. (I mean they have a big fandom compared to other groups and have no problem selling 10K but from SM's expectations..)
And that they were rooting for SHINee to be the next TVXQ but they obviously couldn't make it that big so SM moved on to EXO

I've also seen that Super Junior are just members that weren't good enough to make DBSK. That's part of the reason that they are just there. I don't know how true it is, but I don't like that group so I don't care.
I also think that it might have been a mistake for them to do another super group like EXO, which also isn't making expectations. Managing a lineup that large must be a headache that only pounds harder as time goes by. Like i've said before in the past a formulaic approach to creativity will never reap the calculated benefits, and that's the mistake that SME makes time and time again.
Quite frankly, i'd be upset is SHINee had a lineup change or disbanded but i'd also be disheartened if they are suffering in order to provide entertainment—I mean we already know that there are some confirmed sketchy things that happen. The worst part is that it isn't even worth it because of the inefficiency of it all you'll never get back the amount of work you get the performers to do after you've sacrificed quality, individuality and creativity.

Plus when you consider things like fan service and image carving, it must really become stressful, especially if you are individualistic. Yes, they did sign up for this, but being forced to do something against your will or that will make you uncomfortable has to be demoralizing. I mean, this might be a loaded statement, however this is essentially all it is: it can seem at times that these companies are preying on naïve youngsters that only want to achieve their wildest dreams and showcase their talents while at the same time targeting and taking advantage of insecure consumers all for a profit. No, i'm not talk about fans or even avid ones, but about super fans—the obsessed. It would take a lot to change my mind that the image and idea of celebrity in South Korea (generally) carries a lot more weight than here in the West. It is debatable about just how ethically responsible these companies are for taking advantage of, or some may even say contributing to this monster but I can't say that it hasn't had an overall destructive effect from what i've seen on what is already image-centric society.

EXO is talented, I like them, and their music is enjoyable. They have a promising future, or at least i'm curious to hear the music that they release in the future, I wish them success! But in my opinion it was just all so hyped up to a level that they could not deliver on when it came time to do so. Why say that you're crossing the ocean when you're really walking to the beach? Placing the bullseye a bit closer and hitting dead center will always be more impressive that placing it far away and missing completely. My view on EXO's work isn't tarnished at all because of this, i'm speaking more about their overall impact. That ****ing blockbuster budget should have at least provided a doorbuster audience.

The hype was ridiculous and pulling a Born This Way was bound to achieve Born This Way results, I'll give you that. But at the end of the day, they still have one of the highest-selling albums of the year, they've established themselves as the #1 rookie out, they've had one of the strongest debuts we've seen in years, and they've got a die-hard Chinese fanbase that will basically keep them afloat should Korea ever lose interest. They're getting WW promo with SM Town, they've been doing showcases throughout Asia, and the MAMA mini-album sold extraordinarily in Japan for a group that isn't even thinking about a Japanese debut yet - if I'm not mistaken, it's outsold Japanese material from groups like 4minute. And they ain't even drop the first album.

Because LYn's Back In Time is the only OST that sold more than "All For You" and she deserves to win

*Of the groups that have debuted in 2012, #1 right now is either EXO or B.A.P. Cross Gene sure as hell isn't doing it.
**What other group has done it bigger in the last few years?
***I'm just saying those Chinese fans go hard, as exemplified by Han Geng's EMA win and Shinhwa and Super Junior's Mnet voter standings.

There's tons of videos on youtube about Onew being bullied by the members. I've seen some where he isn't acknowledged or even talks in interviews. I hope its all rumors though.

SM must be crazy, what other groups push 150k+ with a mini album. I think they can become bigger. All they really need is strong comeback singles.
