The Whitney GIFs are cracking me up.

I gave it to Mariah because Janet never really escaped the shadow of other 1980s artists - including her own brother - to blaze as much.

I do think she had impact, but I think Mariah's impact as a vocalist is a lil more than Janet's as a performer.
