Seriously though, no other solo artist will achieve such a feat. The sheer number of one billion is a number artists wish they could hear.

This just gives an idea of how HUGE The Girlie Show Tour was.
$ 70 Million in 1993 (that´s 19 years ago) and playing only 39 Dates is almost unthinkable !
Imagine this gross adjusted for inflation ....
ONLY THE QUEEN OF POP
Let me Bow Down a little bit more:

It can't be Nicki. Someone I follow on Twitter is in New York for Rihanna's album launch event and tweeted about Nicki meeting some fans.
Cee-Lo would be ruled out since The Voice is on tonight. I REALLY do not want a random guest who has no connection to her career. We know it won't be Lady Gaga since she's performing a show in Chile tonight.

I'm pretty sure the S&S tour success was in part an effect of the Confessions DVD. Everyone loved that DVD, it played everywhere and everyone knew it was a great show.

I don't think the Confessions DVD could have THAT much of an effect.

That's why I said "part of". I'm sure it was a factor, it was really mediatic and everywhere on TV.
