No one is going to hold Beyonce back. It's not as if they'd come out for half the performance. If they do perform, they'd probably have a verse each and then walk off stage. It would add to the spectacle of the event. It'd be like saying that you don't want them to have fireworks or marching bands or thousands of dancers on the field because they don't have successful careers and are not as talented as Beyonce and are distractions. Beyonce was the lead when they were in Destiny's Child, and there's no doubt that she would be in any form of a reunion, and the fact is that a reunion would take her performance to another level. DC3 were hugely popular, and still have a number of fans. I also think it'd give her performance some variety. People should walk away from it thinking, "WOW, I cannot believe all that happened. Beyonce is amazing."
It didn't hurt her to make a new album and tour with them after having AMAZING solo success, so sharing the stage definitely will not hurt her now. If anything it'll make her look more gracious.
I agree that any more time than 2:00 is too much for a reunion, it's not the place, but I think it'd be really special to have them make an appearance.
However, we are all assuming that they'd want to do this. Perhaps they want to keep their distance so they can stand on their own.
