all the artists that create the music that she puts her vocals on get credit on her album. It is easy to tell who wrote/produced those songs. The public was giving her credit for that performance and had no one found the other video she would still be getting credit to this day. That is my point, she gets way more credit than she deserves because she presents things in such a way that make her look like a visionary genius when in actual fact she is a glorified thief. Maybe she should come up with some more original ideas
She should be getting credit to this day. She performed the hell out of that screen.
Tell me, did Lorella give the producers credit? Did Lorella give Kagemu credit?
We could go on and on. The truth is, Beyonce gave one hell of a performance and she really didn't steal anything, The people that made the earlier productions worked with Bey just like they worked with others.
Anyway, Kenzo Digital did a few interviews after the performance, like this one >> http://music.yahoo.com/blogs/amplifi...rformance.html <<< so people would have known who made it anyway. Who is so dumb as to believe Bey was the first to ever do it. Youtube is full of interactive media presentations.
One of the dumbest comments I've ever come across on atrl. I guess she implied she created the costume she wore for that performance as well since she didnt give credit after the performance. Such morons on here
No, but she is an artist who sings and dances so it is implied that her music and choreography are original whether or not they were created by her. The point is that she would have gotten credit for that performance had people not found that other video and she only gave credit to the original artist who performed it because people found the video. It is dishonest and misleading in my opinion.
this thread started with someone saying that Beyonce's performance inspired an artist. I would have been fine if they said "the producers of Beyonce's performance inspired a new queen". Again she gets way more credit than she deserves.
may be.. but lorena not original producers and beyonce did not steal from anyone or anything.. can you understand?

Beyonce has incorporated the stanky leg, dougie, j-setting and other contemporary dances in her routines. Everyone knows Bey did not create the stanky leg move that was in RTW choreo besides we arent talking about music or choreography here, we are talking about projections. What exactly were u misled to believe? That Beyonce designed the screen projections for that performance herself? U obviously don't know how much brains and hands go into a high profile music performance. At what point exactly were u expecting her to give credit to the artist? During her acceptance speech. You need to get a reality grip, Bey's performance is rightfully lauded and still praised till today, just youtube it and see

I think you need to delve deeper into the world of pop before saying things like this.
Pop artists, have always drawn from other artists. Whether it's photography for their album cover, choreography for their music video or live presentation. You can bet your ass someone else did it first. It's not about that though. It's about how well you execute your performance and how many people you're able to reach.
What's laughable is that you make it sound like the projections made the entire performance. If it had been your fav or any of other pop girls that had the projection effects, it would not have been billed as the Performance of a lifetime. Beyonce made the effects work not the other way around

Everyone samples, not just hip-hop artists.
sorry but there is a difference between being inspired by another artist and completely recreating a performance. I agree that Beyonce killed it, my issue is that it was something that another artist had already performed being presented as an original performance which I found dishonest and misleading. I am not saying she should have credited her during the performance I am saying she should have come up with a more original idea. You don't feel that way and I respect that. Let's agree to disagree.

Thank you!!!
Now can you say Beyoncé completely recreated the performance of that Italian girl? NO. She had Les Twins with her to cooperate then dozens of women dancing to the beat on stage and didn't rely on visualizations on the second part of BB perfromance. She used some elements from Loretta performance but not the whole thing. Thank you and goodbye.
Aw. you mad this poor girl sings and move betta than yo fave, so bitter. & yo fave inspires girls to get a black-eye by her ex/back again lover & to do DRUGS (weed)? #poordat

First of all digital effects have been used since the 80's, they been and still use it on Broadway, hell they use digital effects in movies. Beyonce used it on a perfomance she brought it to mainstream, Madonna used it for her Super Bowl performance. If you gorls had a life outside of ATRL you would know some things
