NUMB is strongest uptempo on the album and it would be stupid of them NOT to release it as the 2nd/3rd single
Numb is not uptemo.
If anything Numb will be released to Urban radio or just a promo single like cake and cockiness. However Pour it up is an urban smah waiting to happen. They'll def go with pour it up over numb though.
Pour It Up is definitely going to be a single. Mike Will produced it, and Rihanna loves her ratchet songs. If Birthday Cake did, so will PIU. It will receive a video as well.
The snippets are available on iTunes in HQ now, if you guys didn't know already. Also, i think when i buy the album i'm gonna manually change the title from Phresh to FRESH. and Loveeeeeee song to Love Song. Sorrih.
There are a few songs that can be a Pop/Urban crossover.
Numb
Phresh Out the Runway
Jump
Nobody's Business
Numb and NB maybe but Jump will not get urban play its way too clubby. POTR is like and intro song and I don't see it getting a release at all, much less a full release.
Jump should be the Summer single.
Nobody's Business late Spring lead into Summer then Jump can pick up until fall when she can slow it down with a ballad.
April - September is an important period. She cant afford to screw up ****. Singles also sell well here and award shows often times focus on this period. The VMAs, AMAs and Grammys. You dont want the album to be dead by May like with Talk That Talk.

It will. The dope Ginuwine sample alone will guarantee its urban spins. Plus if shes coming off of Nobody's Business which will probably be the biggest R&B single of 2013 she will get it. They played Where Have You Been for Christ's sake.
