While this is true, this will hold if AND ONLY IF Republicans don't try to win back the Latino voters. Well they never had it, but historically they've averaged the 40s (Romney was 27%) so you can expect a try for those voters. And latinos vote according to candidates, no party so its gonna be hard for the Dems to grab Texas if their candidate isn't another Bill Clinton or Barack Obama. It's possible though, just not as likely
this was probably one of the most memorable ones for me
