Gaga was accused of exploiting religion for needless controversy in Judas, but that song and video actually have a lot of intention and metaphor behind them. And then the song had no life left when people discovered it wasn't actually all that controversial.

What's the point of throwing upside-down crosses and pentagrams all over this video, other than to piss people off? Where's the social commentary? Where's the connection to the song, on a basic level?

But of course IT'S KE$HA STFU SHE'S AWESOME NOT EVERYTHING NEEDS MEANING GEEZ, and no one's even going to care.

Kinda wish she'd done more choreo and that it wasn't so dark and gritty and... leathery. I mean, the song is joyous, not sexy. Also, the Illuminati stuff is boring to me -- I understand that it's easy publicity and I'd imagine it must be fun to troll the crazies with it, but I just don't think it's aesthetically pleasing. All that symbolism almost feels passé.

I do like it, though. It helps that she looks seriously STUNNING. Especially on that mattress. Just gorgeous.

I actually agree. Ignoring all the nonsense (which may not be easy for some) I think it's a good video.
