^^^ And this is true. I moderate for the largest CC fansite in the world and the queue is so unbelievably slow any more. EA killed the community that Maxis cultivated, IMO.

But, yeah, I definitely agree with the bolded. Ever since the Sims 3, it just wasn't the same anymore. I lost complete intrest in the Sims, filmmaking, and the community

I think this is the first time in a very long I've been interested in both a SP and a EP. Seasons is just gonna be epic and I've always wanted a throwback SP so it all works. I'm surprised they didn't turn the SP into a Store Compilation.

I wish I could get into The Sims 3 but something just seems off. Maybe it's because I spent so much time growing up playing Sims 1 & 2.

same here, they charge those store compilations so ****ing much.. (but they usually have more content than a stuff pack)

the base game is really boring IMO, with the expansions & stuff packs it's much better but still they don't really add much. Seasons looks like it'll be bringing back many things from Sims 1 & Sims 2 though.

Yep, it's so crazy. I really rely on mods for clothing, hairstyles, objects (which I think makes my game flourish). I did buy Starlight Shores on sale but Lucky Palms, oh no. That costs way too much for me, even if it's beautiful.
