The production on this album is of the highest quality. Every song sounds like they took time and focused on each individual sound. Every song from Phresh Out the Runway to Half Of Me offers something different, and that's something Rihanna hasn't done yet. The mash-up of genres in each song just blows my mind; on Jump, Love Without Tragedy and Lost In Paradise especially.
And no, I am not stating this because its new material. It really is her best work yet.
tbh i just think everyone expected these big club songs since she was working with davd and sia and RedOne but then we get this its more urban then anything and no one was expecting it

No it's definitely not her best work yet, GGGB and Rated R can DEMOLISH Unapologetic, so you can stop right there. I know we all have different opinions but what you said is just lie...
You flaming queens are just pressed because every song is not a generic We Found Love/Only Girl rip-off. This is the most diverse album from a pop girl I've seen in years. Including out of her own discography.
Honestly I prefer pop Rih the most, from SOS, Umbrella, DSTM, Disturbia, WHYB, We Found Love, Only Girl so Im dissapointed with this one yet...Talk that Talk, Loud >>>> Unapologetic as of the moment
So far, only Phresh off the Runway, Right Now, and the CB collab are the ones I love
This album is for sure more mature than her past and that may grow on me
Hopfully it will deliver
