I agree it's likely just a dedication to him. Dunno why he's butt hurt, as if she stole the whole premise of his songs. Probably just wants to cause some mini "storm" for publicity and to claim someone relevant actually used his work.

These kind of accusations can be made for literally every song out there today. How the hell would you even know as an artist that somebody has used the line you just thought of before? There are millions of songs...you can`t possibly know them all.
Her discography is more capable of answering that than one line.
I said "maybe" for a reason. I don't use her or her type of music, so I wouldn't truly know. From my experience, she writes a lot about break-ups, and people seem to like that. Maybe she does it well. I don't know.

did he copyright the lyric?? no! taylor liked the lyric so much and she probably thought it fit so well in her context that she used it. but damn him to hell for reacting like that! its a damn lyric for crying out loud!
