Don't be fooled by the title, this is in fact a full song. Choirs chant over a flurry of electronics as Christina repeats: "This is the beginning" over a heavy, hip-hoppy beat. "To the sky I rise/ Spread my wings and fly" she continues, before running off her spiel about how a lotus is "the unbreakable flower".

Oh god, she even says it in the song too?

Most certainly, i've always wanted her to make an album like this. Because with Stripped it was a personal divergence from CA, B2B was a totally different sound, look and image; Bionic an attempt at "cracking" the dance scene. I think this album is a mixture of CA with the poppy tracks, Stripped's personal messages and B2B's sampling. It's like a "higher-echelon" Teenage Dream

You're wrong. The album was classic Christina Aguilera good. Bionic may sounded a bit dated, but that's mostly because of Polow Da Don/Tricky Stewarts lackluster production techniques.

She was executuve producer, she should have had permission, cackles, to record what she wanted. If she put out Bionic a year after KGB, it would have been more received than 2 years later.

I actually loved the sound of 'Lotus' but I find it hard to judge songs from snippets, I listen to them once and then wait for the album. I'll end up swapping favourites a lot for the first few weeks.

Christina would never drop to TD standards, she may not have the same commercial success as that particular album but she is about taking musical chances, working with different co-writers and producers and expanding her artistry. Not sticking with the same old formula.

Nelly Furtado's Spirit Indestructible and Xtina's Bionic are brilliant albums and they didn't sell as much as they both deserved but they're both brilliant conceptual pieces in their own right.

Bionic had some great songs and I believe Xtina when she says that Bionic was going to be short-but-sweet. I would've loved a mixture of both types of electro-pop. The mainstream and the more alternative-sounding.

I actually think leaks are beneficial, especially when there has been little promo. Some songs could get internet promo if they are really fantastic, it may convince people to buy it who hadn't thought of it before and it pleases the fans earlier.

Ultimately people who are going to buy it will buy it, people who are going to download it illegally are going to do that whether it's a week before the official release or the day of release, doesn't make much of a difference.

Bea is quite right actually, like when Take Care leaked last year the ultimate THIRST to download a copy was immense. It was 1 of the most illegally downloaded albums last year, yet because of the great quality of it those same people went and brought a copy. Leaks can be beneficial
