Yeah I agree. I've been thinking this for a while. Honestly though I would have never EVER thought that Britney would do a live tv show after 2007 so I could care less about the ratings. I'm just so amazed that I get to see the queen twice a week on my tv!

But this "isn't" Britney's show. That's like saying everyone tuning into The Voice is doing so for Xtina, yet Itunes, Billboard, and logic suggest otherwise . Britney was fine for oneoffs (Glee, Will & Grace, HIMYM), but if people really believed she was going to bring the ratings week after week after week, for a reality competition (that she is featured all of 6 minutes of in total) than they were misguided. At the end of the day there has to be something more to it than Britney, and I'm sorry, no one knows Demi, no one cares about Simon anymore, and no one has ever cared about LA.

And if the Live Shows continue to be as boring as they were last night, than it will continue to drop. The sound system is a complete mess, I said it last night and I'll say it again, if it continues sounding like this, I will stop watching. It's really amateur and completely distracting.

I'm happy she is having fun, and got paid alot of money, and if she continues with it than that is her prerogative and I will support her. But that doesn't mean I will continue to watch

I hope this wasn't in response to me? I rarely post in this thread or anything Britney related even though I am a big, long-time fan.

I was one of the few who knew that XFactor would be disastrous from the very first rumours of her being a judge. I didn't think ratings would be as awful as they are, but it's not really that surprising.

I agree that the breakdowns are mind boggling. Not because of "one episode" - there's been 2 months of proof, well, actually there's been 5 years of proof - but because people are still expecting things from her. After the Circus era was over, it was crystal clear that "old Britney" was gone forever and would never, ever be coming back.

The thing about this is that deep down I expected that she'd be like this but I had a glimmer of hope that she'd show more personality and do well.

And this is why I said yesterday that it's clear that she's just not ready for live TV, and while I'm hoping she improves I don't see it happening considering she's been on the show already for months now. She's had tons of time to get over her nerves so I don't see her getting much better.

I do think though that she's a lot smarter than she comes across live as seen in the mentoring clip and people think she is.

You wanna talk? She had issues with drugs, and bipolar disorder. Have you met someone recovering from a drug addiction? Are they the same as before? Probably not. She was always a shy, reserved person, so stop trying to make it as if she was a ****ing master of essays and speech. She talks fine for someone who is not trying to prove ANYTHING. Get over it.

uhm no. she just isn't a great judge. Why does it always go back to her mental state? She is a great mentor and she's expressed her ideas clearly to her contestants.
