She's so embarrassing
Did she stand up for herself against the Queen of pop? No? She's a hypocritical mess

From what I understand, he just randomly called her out for some attention. She probably overreacted a little bit but she's completely right in saying it's the new thing to just talk **** about her when a new single/album drops. It's flattering but annoying at the same time

Irrelevant.
EDM is a male dominated genre. There are very few female singer, writer, producers. Next to none in mainstream. Whilst I don't feel it was necessary to bring it up, It's not surprising that she feels disrespected because of her gender. We've only recently seen comments from Diplo and Tiesto, that probably wouldn't have been made against male counterparts.

He didn't attack her for being a female though
She brought that up herself for no apparent reason. Probably to make herself look better.

I wouldn't have a problem with her calling him out for randomly giving interviews about "turning her down" 4 years ago if she had done the same to Madonna.

He didn't even say anything offensive
And she uses the same tactics, that's being hypocritical

She didn't jab back at Grace Jones either. It's plausible she has respect of her elders. There's nothing wrong with that.

Ahm, what I read from the Daily Mail was this:
And when he was asked if he regretted turning down chance to work with Lady Gaga, he replied: 'No, no, no.'

I think we're seeing Gaga finally getting tired of all the **** she gets, like she's the destruction of music or something. Ever since Madonna's "reductive" comment, it's been cool for artists to diss Gaga, to make them look like "real" artists.
And last time I checked, Zedd, Skrillex, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Diplo, Pretty Lights, etc. are all males, and are far more popular than any female DJ.

I love that she's standing up for herself lately.
One can only take so much for years and the reason that triggered it was extremely offensive to her so I'm not surprised she's just doing it now.

No, what you're saying is irrelevant. Her being a producer/DJ blah blah has nothing to do with Calvin doing a remix for her. If you've ever been to an EDM event as I have, you would know that there are plenty of female voices heard on songs. Pulling the gender card is ignorant. Until Lady Gaga produces amazing electronic music on her own, she should try not claiming some "Queen of EDM" throne as she has no relevance, presence, or importance in the EDM community.

Exactly. No one bought gender into the equation. He was speaking about her in general, one artist to another, but as I said, she wanted to be in the victimized light so she went there and is making Calvin seem like a bully.
