It's the last 3 December-dated charts that totally sucked last year. So it does look worse than last year.

Rihanna's video had just dropped, so that probably explains why she was above 200K for a few weeks. SAIKI was just starting to smash on radio and they had performed on some show, so that probably explains their heightened sales for that time. Once December came, things leveled off for both songs.

Didn't happen for "The Time (Dirty Bit)," "You Da One," "Bad Romance," etc.

The time's just too busy. November/December is prime for album releases, that's why it usually never happens and the singles come September/October.

2010's final 3 November chart weeks each had a song debut with over 200k too. I still maintain that right now is an especially weak chart week.
