1+1 was nice on the first listen but it just floats around and builds up to nothing. There's no climax. There's no wow factor. It's plain.
I Care's verses are nice but the chorus kills everything with the repetitive "I Care i know you don't care too much but I care" Really Beyonce?
BTINH is a forgettable Irreplaceable wannabe that is one of the worst songs Babyface has ever written
The epic guitar solo isn't a Climax? It's not plain. The vocals of Beyoncé really shine through the song and it sounds so personal to her. Beautiful masterpiece of a song.
The ending and verses of I Care >>>>>. IDGAF if the Chorus sucks because it's not even THAT bad.

Why do I consider it the best R&B album of the past three decades? Not only does it seamlessly combine R&B, Soul, Hip-Hop and a host of other influences in a way that appeals to listeners of all ages, backgrounds and varying music tastes, but her lyrical prowess, smooth vocals and unmatched rapping style makes you sit up and take notice of what she's serving you with. Few artists are able to create the impact that Lauryn has with just one album, an album that will definitely continue to speak to the hearts and souls of people for generations to come.
