Diamonds is obviously Soul driven, that's why people can say it's an R&B song. But the difference between WMN & Diamonds on the R&B charts is that WMN got a ton of airplay on Urban, unlike Diamonds. In the end, Airplay is the most important factor when it comes to whether or not the song has urban appeal. Beyoncé has pop songs that everyone considers R&B. For example, Crazy in Love (which is technically R&B/Pop)
