It's a good song, but I hate the tempo of it. It had the potential to be a lot better tbh. When I first heard it I remember thinking I hope to GOD they speed this up because it was almost hard to get through at the pace it was.. but that ended up being the final version.
I think part of it is her image, too. I was at a club last weekend and the video for Your Body came on and the guy next to me said to his friend: "Is that Christina Aguilera" and his friend said "Yeah" and then the first guy said "Why does she look like such white trash?" and then they just laughed. Nobody was really there for it. It's kind of sad. She's trying to re-invent her stripped image because that's what people seem to want.. but it's tired on her, I think.
She can smash with something fresh, with better lyrics and image. I don't think this is flopping just because it's Christina.
It's holding up pretty well on iTunes for a song with no promo.
