I wish something like this got more national attention instead of constant bitching about her too personal songs. Everybody loves to ignore the positive she does. All the charity work, buying books for school, encouraging children to read and etc etc. etc.
I really love and appreciate that she is doing that because i am a big reader myself.

The children handed in numerous questions to be submitted to Swift during the 30-minute webcast. Although none of theirs were selected, the township students didn’t seem to mind as they watched Swift on a large screen in the school cafeteria.
“I’ve never heard Taylor Swift songs so much,” Brunner said, joking that students haven’t stopped singing her new hit, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” to her all week. “That is what I hear going into the classroom, the cafeteria, everywhere.”
But before Swift delighted the students with a performance of the song, she fielded questions about her love of reading.
The 22-year-old singer said as a child she loved Dr. Seuss, Shel Silverstein, fairy tales and fables. As she grew older, she enjoyed Harper Lee's "To Kill a Mockingbird," J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series, and Suzanne Collins' "The Hunger Games."
She was featured on two songs on the "The Hunger Games" movie soundtrack.
“Books have been a huge inspiration for my imagination,” Swift said. “It’s fun to escape from where you are in life and jump into somebody else’s character. You can find a quiet place and go somewhere else. ... I really like history, and I’ve always loved the idea of going back in time.”
Swift told the students that she's always loved writing, completing her first song at age 12 and winning a national poetry contest in fourth grade.
By 13, she had even written a novel while at the shore without her friends.
“Writing in any sense has always been an escape for me,” Swift said, adding that ideas for new songs come to her at all times and in all types of places: the airport, walking down the street, in the middle of the night.
Swift, who finished her first album at 16, credited her love of reading with helping her achieve so much at a young age.
Morgan summarized some of Swift’s achievements: six Grammys, 11 No. 1 songs, and more than 20 million albums sold.
Students seem affected by Swift’s message and her success.
“I’m a big fan,” Imani Kirkland said. “I like how she is humble about everything. She is who she is. She didn’t let anything change her.”
