You're acting like only teens are watching this show... A lot of older people watch as well. Have you also considered the fact that if the kids or the overs give great performances which they possibly will, everyone's going to be voting for them.. it's kind of inevitable. People don't go "oh She's really commercial I'm gonna vote for her.." they vote for the standout performances. That's mostly the case.
I'm talking about success out of the show, and only Demi's category really stands a chance after the show, plus Jennel has a LOT of support, she could win. And yeah people dont look for commercial singers....its just that commercial singers stand out in reality shows, I mean One Direction did not make it to the X Factor finals because they gave standout performances week in week out, they made it because they were commercial and always written about. And its pretty much unanimous in a lot of forums/ articles that Brit and Demi have the strongest categories....even after the results.

the wildcard thing .. are the eliminated four from the first live show going to have votes from the genral public so one contestant can stay? I don't get the Sunday show tbh, don't they usually use the wildcard @ the judges houses?
Nobody knows, we wont find out until the actual show

!!
Its widely known in US and UK that the demographic that tends to vote most is teenage girls....hence the high number of male winners on these shows. Thats my only concern, Demi's team is mostly female.

Lol you're just saying this out of no where. It's at least 40% adults voting and if you look at last year's acts many of them were people whom adults would vote for.

not really.
It's not something new, the target audience is clearly the 12-19 olds.
The majority of XF's viewers are teens or young adults.

Even if no one votes for anyone in Demi's category which is highly unlikely. Judges still need to go to deadlock in order for the public's vote to count and send someone home.

exactly! Chances are they'll pick the most commercial person in the bottom 2 over the most talented person.
Link me to all of them, they've given LYLAS the "girls next door who wont steal yo boyfriend" look to make sure they dont intimidate the viewers, I like Diamonds look!

The guys will win the show but in the end the girls will be more successful. The winner always ends up flopping. See every single series of X Dactor UK
Even if Demi doesn't have the winning category she will most likely have the most successful category
