Congratulations again to all the nominees, and thank you all for your patience. We are now currently in the transition from the nomination process to the final voting process. It's a very exciting time for monsters.
Our view and reply numbers last year were, overwhelmingly, the highest of all the fanbase award shows, and we will likely not only be winning the top spot for numbers again this year, but also multiplying our own numbers from last year (which I'm even more proud of). But with a bigger ceremony comes the need for more help.
Our voting committee so far consists of myself, Katie, YSL, Versace, and DullEnlightenment. We need three more members. If you're interested, post here or contact me privately.
Once the committee has been fully-formed, we will all access the email account (to ensure that everyone can login BEFORE votes start coming in), and
then voting will begin.
Because of whatever problems transpired in the nomination process,
voting will be open for a month. I'm sure that many of you will be annoyed by that wait, but this is to ensure that everyone has a chance to vote (and have their ballot verified as received). This is for fairness.
When voting in each category, you'll now have six possible selections; you can choose one of the 5 candidates already nominated, or you can write-in your choice. You cannot pick one of the nominees AND write-in someone.
As we move closer to the award ceremony,
we'd love to have volunteers to present. If you have any interest, post here, email [email protected], or PM me.
And finally, as previously announced,
Sloth will be the head of design for this, our second annual award show. Please thank him and if you want to assist in the graphics realm, contact him (his username is currently Stonem).
Now that we're in the midst of the transition, no more "what is this mess?!!" and no more "so what happens now?" posts. The "mess" is resolved and with two posts now, you know what's going on. Continuing to dwell on things/ignoring the posts where the plans have been laid out may result in disciplinary action as we have the wonderful Katie joining us as one of the committee members. So for the sake of our fanbase, and for the sake of all of us putting the time and energy into the awards: keep it cute.
Thanks.
