I honestly don't know what it would take for any radio station to seriously play a Lana song.
Video Games and Born to Die got played all over the place in the UK. I think US top 40 stations are too dance-focused atm, Lana's songs are generally slower and more alternative sounding, even a bit hip hop-sounding at times.
They should have at least played Born to Die that song is pretty awesome I dont see why Video games is so good though I can never go through the whole song without stopping.
