I literally said I hate how it is used - but you don't need to be delusional and say it doesn't go on.
It's like "alternative" - how is that supposed to describe a genre?

That means literally anything aside from mainstream.
Now there's "indie pop" and "indie rock" which ARE commonly used genres.
Once again, I realize that they are meant to be used for independent artists, but people are straying from that.
An example: Dev is involved with a label called "Indie Pop" - yet she has a record deal.
All we are trying to say is that Lana's image is one of an indie star.
The fact that she has been signed to Interscope just brings an indie-like act to the public eye.
That isn't a bad thing.
