Can y'all do me a solid and post in this thread? I need a thread to win a challenge for Top Member in the games section and I refuse to lose to a Beyonce stan.

I would have added Kelly's but obviously, we only have her single cover. She really needs to reveal that soon. I hope it's beautiful. Watch the GH have a better cover than all the other girls releasing studio albums.

CMB is lyrically and musically superior to DS and you all will all deal. I love DS, but the verses are too slow, and the chorus comes out of nowhere, and not in the "in your face" kinda way like SUBG and MLWSWY... but rather in a way that makes it feel like a different song completely.

Yea and imo Kesha's and the newly released Rihanna cover look really cheap and try too hard to be edgy. Xtina's was alright but she's a bit old for playing the sexy naked goddess image

I liked that but I do think that's what turned off a lot of people ESP non stans. The drums and bass were too loud. they could have been lighter and Kelly's voice could've been softer during the chorus . Honestly Felt like she was trying to compete with the bass

CmB will do better on radio because its more radio friendly . As much as I think DS is a hidden gem, it's production could have been tweaked a bit more for radio play

Dark Side has the better bridge (is that a bridge? I've never actually been sure...

).

They both have weak choruses, thought CMB makes up for it with an amazing pre-chorus.

CMB has better verses.

But for the record, CMB hasn't been released to radio yet. It's all a bit confusing, because why premiere the song when you haven't allowed radio stations to play it yet? All the articles when the single was announced said it was being sent to radio and digital distributors on the 15th.

Catch My Breath got played 10 times on 4 stations with a total audience of 0.323 million.

listening to Breakaway, Im thinking it is still the best choice Kelly was the one who got it. It suits her better vocally and LYRICALLY than Avril.

I know it's confusing. I just can't imagine the song only getting 10 plays if it was truly released to radio. Because that's just terrible. I'm trying to think of a logical reason why the song only was played 10 times yesterday.

She'd didn't get a "bubble gum version" of SUBG... she got SUBG which was a bubble gum song until Kelly fixed it.

No it was supposed to be a sweet sounding bubble gum song but Kelly changed SUBG bc she wanted to add in the rock sound with drums
