I'm surprised I got a 95 on that class when I got an F and and 2 D's in a row.

My teacher gave me like 30 extra credit points in the end so it helped. I just hate learning a bout animals and cells and how we function. But I slayed in Chemistry.

I took the PLAN exam and they said my ACT score range was around 25-28. My school makes us take mandatory ACT/SAT test prep, so with that, hopefully I can boost my score in the 30s. Many kids at my school gets in the 30s. 4 kids got a 36!

I took my practice ACT already so I wonder what I got!

Gurl, don't ever take the ACT. It is so terrible. I got a 29 on it, when that converts to like a 1920 SAT, and my SATs are in the 2100s.

I think it's because I literally cannot do the science sections. They bore me to death, and I just gave up on them.

I'm guessing you aren't from the states. ACT means American College Testing. All high-schoolers must take this in their second year of high-school to see if they'll get scholarships after they graduate, and see which colleges will accept them. For example I live in Michigan and a University called Dearborn only accepts people with an ACT score of 21 and over. But if you get a score of over 26 on the ACT they'll give you a scholarship of $12,000 dollars if you apply to their school. My score wasn't the best.

I was seriously considering watching Spanish soap operas during the summer so I can retain my ish but then I completely blew that off. My pronunciation is so bad, like I can't even roll my R's.

My school must be pretty damn incompetent then because I've never heard one mention of the ACTs this year. The only exams we're taking this year are the PSATs and the Proficiencies.

I live in Vegas, so I don't know if that factors into anything but.

The Science part on the ACT is DEADLY.

Like I can slay the English and Reading parts easily, and do ~okay on the Math part, but all those graphs with charts and percentages on the Science section.

I just shade in random bubbles and give up.

I would be DEVASTATED if I got a 29. That's soo under my goal of a 33.

I'm the EXACT opposite. I slay Science, do decent on math, and just flop all over the place with reading and english. Especially reading. Like how am I suppose to read all these passages and answer questions under 30 minutes. Girl I just shade stuff in and hope for the best. When I do my test prep, I'm making sure I focus on slaying the reading and english because that will be my downfall.

Do you read a lot of books?

If you started a series it would help your speed.

Just zoom past all the unnecessary details and read the important parts. I hate when I come to a question on the Reading part and it says "What did the writer mean here when she said '___'" And there are paragraph answers.

I have one minute per question, that's just evil. And ESPECIALLY on the English part where they say "Suppose the writer wants to insert this sentence '__' in the passage. What paragraph should it go in?" That's just blasphemy.
