A true mess. Cynical, callous, with some of Mariah's worst lyrics. The campiest moment of her career, bar none, and STOPPED E=MC squared dead in its tracks. The only reason I didn't give it a zero is because it's the perfect soundtrack to this masterpiece:

Agreed on everything. Ne-Yo added absolutely nothing to the song. Her vocals are alright—very processed though. And she looks a MESS in the rain.

I actually like the solo version of "Angels Cry". The fact that it might be about her miscarriage makes me view it differently now I guess.

I wanted to include at least one 12 inch dance remix, as the extended remixes of Mariah's 90s material are LEGEND. (Some would say that the longer remixes of Anytime You Need a Friend, Dreamlover and Fantasy are better than the original versions.) This is the most famous amongst fans, and it breaks me apart to see it go so soon.

A killer interpolation of the classic 80s dance track "If You Should Ever Be Lonely" by Val Young, this Heartbreaker remix adds depth to the original by exposing the dark, needy underside to the fluffiness of the a-side. Stellar.
