I was scared that this meant she wouldn't care to promote this era, but then she started retweeting all those EMA/PCA tweets, so I don't think we have to worry about her promoting anymore. If she performs her lead single at an award show I will die.

I think that was just her trying to be ~deep~ and ~thoughtful.~ It's nothing new that she values Liam/her family/dogs/being a homebody more than her career but I don't think she'll put it on hold anymore. This tweet gets me through the day sometimes.

Same! I get worried coz she says things like "I don't care if I don't make a dime, I just wanna make a good record" etc. I mean obviously, I care more about the actual music more than the sales, but I really do want it to slay. But at the same time I don't think she's just gonna release it and not give a damn afterwards. I think something will actually get done, it'll get promoted. She seems more motivated lately. So I hope.

This is totally random but am I the only person who has wanted Miley to make a Christmas album for forever? I find it so weird how she's never had one considering Disney had her shell out multiple studio/live/EP/soundtrack/remix albums in a single year and Christmas albums are so easy to make and they almost always sell well. If she'd done one in her peak it would have been an easy platinum album.

No but to be successful with a christmas album, you need a PERFECT image and that's not her case anymore.... she needs to rebuild herself an image first.

Oh, I know if she put a Christmas album out now it would do absolutely nothing. I just wish she had done one in 2006 or something. Maybe if Miley ends up performing at the Jingle Ball this year like it's been rumored, she can fit a quick Christmas song in during her set though.

I've always wanted Miley to make a Christmas album too. Her image in 2006 was near flawless, plus the album would've easily scanned passed platinum, and probably even 2x platinum. It's a shame Disney didn't take advantage of that opportunity when they had the chance. She would've slayed Jinge Bell Rock.

I seriously think double platinum would have been a given. Especially considering the album would have resurged in sales every year until like, 2010. Let me go listen to Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree on repeat.

Okay maybe that's a bit of a reach. But still.

I can't stop replaying this video. I get actual LIFE when she says she's meeting with new labels and "You know cause the fun part is when you're in the studio and chilling. But when you have go to go out and promote and tour then that's when the work begins."

TOURING.

I want her to top the Wonderworld tour so bad. In terms of quality and actual gross. I don't know if she can still make $1 million+ per show every night in the US anymore but she's still a huge name so as long as she does a lot of dates it could even out. She just needs to capitalize on the fact that she's as big as ever in Europe and South America and select parts of Asia. And she needs to tour Canada for once.
