No I was being dramatic. It's just that we were so sure that she was going to release music this year. That we were going to have something new around this time, that waiting 6 more months seems like forever. 
I should know better. I stan for Sky Ferreira and she still hasn't put out her debut album and it's been 5 years.

I think the wait was too long and she was a little overexposed with that insane amount of promo. I'm hoping for the best for ARTPOP !

I was really upset when I came to the realization that we won't be getting ARTPOP until next year and then I was pissed because I hate that she even talked about the album so soon. But hey, what can you do? I'm glad she's not, like, talking about it in great detail and things seem like they could be big next era.
I think the biggest problem with BTW is that it didn't live up to the hype. If ARTPOP is good and its accompanying videos are good as well, it will live up to the hype and we'll be happy. Knowing that ZEDD and Madeon (fresh producers) are on the album make it worth the wait for me.

I'm not really sold on Zedd and Madeon. I don't like their solo work all that much.
We'll see what comes from them with Gaga

I felt indifferent about this until the beginning of this week for some reason. I'm sure it will pass soon.  . I'm just afraid that she won't live up to the hype. And the Kendrick thing reminded me the Joseph Kahn thing. We all know how that ended up. Even though I was pessimistic today and yesterday I don't feel like I'm not justified. I've been positive throughout most of the era, I just have a different opinion on some aspects of the big picture. ( idk if I explained myself well and please excuse the grammar  )

The main reason I'm excited for ZEDD and Madeon is because they're young. They know what we like and what we want, and odds are they're going to help Gaga give us what we like and what we want. This means no more 80s retreads and lots more futuristic dance and EDM.

I think this album has been scrapped and re-recorded like three times. According to Vince, they're only about 6 songs in... and if she's been recording since 2010, that doesn't make any sense at ALL. We know how Gaga works... and this just seems unlikely. I really think she wasn't pleased with the material and scrapped the whole thing.
I'll be honest... I really wish she'd stop recording albums while she was on tour. To me, that's the obvious problem. How is she going to focus on an album when, on top of launching several different projects, she's on a tour and isn't in the same continent for more than a week? It just screams messy.

Its probably because she had a lot of decay of the popstar songs and Interscope said no, I mean she said on June/July that she had sent all the songs to Interscope
but according to Vince she only has 6 done now
they probably made her go back to the drawing board

Vince is saying 6 tracks are done from the point of view of a producer.
Gaga confirmed a few weeks ago all of the songs are ready in terms of music and the only work left is on the vocals.
