I think that Skyfall is one of the best Bond's theme in ages...
And I believe people of every age and taste will appreciate it.
It's a great Fall song in itself, Adele's rich and elegant voice suits all melody so well!
It's not baroque, but it's rich enough to appeal to old people who haven't heard a sultry Bond theme since Shirley Bassey's one.
On the other side, it has that cracking-almost-but-assured-and-confident style of delivery so typically Adele's that will make the youth connect with her again.
I don't see how it can fail to dominate from now on.
And I personally am ecstatic to have her again with something new played.
I never know what to answer when hipsters try to downplay Adele just because now she is so successful and everybody is there for her.
This "hipster thing" is so damaging: it's the pre-assumption that someone's taste is better just because by liking things not many do we believe we are in some sort of élite of taste?
Sometimes, it may be... but the truth is that only when a quality product transcends genres and personal views to become so good that everyone bends towards it we get something truly special.
Adele is that quality something.
I have followed her since her beginnings too and she is always the same strong and full of quality artist.
It's just that now everyone knows it and loves it.
I cringe sometimes because if Beatles were around when hipsterism was too, we would have probably even disregarded best thing to ever happen to music...
But anyway... I hope as many as possible can fall as I have done for the beauty of Skyfall

I bought it like 45 minutes ago and it's all that I am playing right now
"WELP!... she is back to snatch us all!"
