Let's hope she can get a couple of songs in the film sound track if they have one
Thats what I was thinking for her to do... just keep doing movies now and hopefully get a song or two on the soundtrack until her label sorts itself out
Also, I read something about an artist being able to dissolve their contract if the record label is restricting them from releasing music for 5 years. I don't think it's any coincidence that they released Disaster a few months shy of Anything's 5 year anniversary.
I remember reading that Barry is an entertainment attorney. I bet he's aware of all the loopholes and deadlines.
you mentioned that JoJo can get released from her contract after five years of being restrained by label from releasing music, if thats the case then do the time start counting from Disaster's release ? Poor girl

Yes. It was 4 years and 4 months between Anything and Disaster. Although it was baffling at the time, it's not difficult to understand why they would release Disaster in September '11 with no promo and then release absolutely nothing else for over a year now. They probably wanted to ensure that she couldn't leave the label.
If you guys chip in, we can raise enough money to hire first class hit men to shoot the label heads. We'll get them shot in the balls first to make it more painful...
