Actually, I care too, but if some of his singles flop or he has a low album debut sales or if Skyfall blocks Bruno or something like that, I won't be mad (like I was when TOTGA or WA didn't hit the number one ). I feel like he will do less comercial / generic songs so he won't smash like he did with his first album.... But this would probably mean a better album!!!

bruno is really the king of longevity getting most positive feedback after live performances. LOOH gets excellent reviews. Many people emphasize how different it is from his previous releases. It doesn't mean worse. Some reviewer in my country refered to LOOH as a perfect mix between TLS & RB reflecting Mars' growth and true attitude towards MUSIC in general.

To be honest I really just want a top 10 hit for now, I am ok with him not topping the chart but selling good at the end because it's gonna be hard, I am still waiting for the promotion to start, I know his live performances kick ass and always help his sales.

JTWYA took WEEKS to get into the iTunes Top 10.

The Lazy Song took forever to get decent updates on radio.

It Will Rain initially bombed on radio, and fell to the 60s on its 2nd day on iTunes. It got back in the Top 10 a MONTH later, after everything fell into place.

This is doing amazing. About to hit #7 on US iTunes + Radios all around the world JUST started spinning it two days ago lol. Give it time.

The truth.

People got worried after Billboard interview (then I got really excited) Non-commercial music in Bruno Mars' mouth means QUALITY. Unique sound, 120% OF OUR BOY.
Radio will eat it up. It already does So... chill and sit back we'll see what happens.

What promo LOOH got so far? Only Whatta Man video + bunch of radio interviews.- It's nothing.
And he still got into top 10 within 2 days. It means he's an established artist already before UJ even got released. It's not so obvious trust me,

And you know what? In the end of the day, Bruno doesn't give a damn about its chart performance. He wants people to accept his versatility.

True, he's a bigger name now, but honestly, people just got caught up in the Taylor Swift/Lady GaGa-esque '#1 debuts in every corner of the earth' that they've forgotten how normal, healthy chart-runs look like.

I am just crossing my fingers right now for him to stay in the top 10 for another week, because he's not promoting the song before 15 October, my fear is that his sales are too low and it looks like people aren't interested enough to buy the song and make it a top 5 at least for now. I've read some of the comments about it outside ATRL saying the song is kinda ok but it's not mind blowing. Well I think the song gets better with every play, the melody is perfect and the hook is addictive but the problem is with the production. I watched some of the song's covers on youtube but done with a different production, and the song sounds better.

This is AMAZING. Reminds me of Beyonce Love on top the feel not saying the same the same. Modern but with a throw back twist.
I like it! Catchy and sounds like a Sting song especially in the verses. I'm just glad he didn't rehash one of his ballads.
This is great, i love it! I didn't expect this to sound so different from his past song, i was expecting another Grenade.
I love how the the chorus is Pop/Rock-ish, the verses are reggae-lite and the bridge has electronic elements. It all works so well.
Funny as 'Locked Out Of Heaven' only is the first single off Bruno's second album. He's build quite a name for himself with his debut.
