I don't think they're all the same, but she does deal with a lot of similar topics. I think she does it in a way that gives her a niche and artistic persona that fits.

Thats not entirely true.

While she has similar themes, if you gave some of her album tracks a chance, you'd see that she does show diversity.

See 'Never Grow Up', 'The Best Day', and 'Long Live' for example.

Yes, she is a great songwriter and I think it's more the content of her singles that most people criticize but I love what she writes so I have no problem

"White Horse" is written great. But she also has corny lyrics and her songs about same things. But she has big potential as a songwritter since she's still young.
Even her corny lyrics > lyrics of majority pop songs.

Well some want different themes but I like an album that sticks around a certain theme. I know alot of artists have a bunch of random songs on their albums but I'd rather they just stick on a theme and elaborate on that theme with multiple songs.

Long Live is a dedication to her band, with whom she has close relationships
Fifteen is about teenagers that try their best to 'fit in' when there are more important things in life.
The Best Day is a song about how thankful she is for her mother/family.

In no way are these all the same.

How is BTD different Back to December is about a break up, which is a recurring theme in a lot of her songs.
We were talking about themes, and not all her songs have for theme break-ups, or relationship with boys.

But I agree, Back to December has really nice lyrics, contrary to WANEVADJST..

So you mean to say that "Ronan" (which is about a young boy who died at 4 from cancer) is the same thematically as "Innocent" (which is about Kanye West interrupting her at the VMAs) and "Never Grow Up" (which is about reminiscing over the simplicity of being a child)?
