Do you think it's fair to say that when she first came out the majority of her fans were teens but they've grown with Taylor as her music has developed/over the past 5 years? For some reason I can't really picture some 20-somethings bopping to Taylors first album. So obviously her fans (who have stuck with her) from the beginning are older now but she also got loads of new fans recently who seem predominately tween/teenage age, especially since WANEEGBTG.
EDIT: Lol, is it WANEEGBTG or WANEGBTG? Long-ass title.
WANEGBT.
And those teen fans come and go, they came with LS and YBWM then went when she didn't have big hits with Speak Now then WANEGBT was a hit and they came back.
It's so interesting, if you look at the current situation in the US and UK. Rihanna leads with a huge lead in the UK at number 1, even though One Direction should be at number 1 knowing it's their home country. But if we look to the US ITunes chart, One Direction has a 45% Lead over Gangnam Style.

Strange things are going on.
maybe because the EP was released in UK too but not in US?
This is my studied prediction for Wednesday's chart btw:
1. Gangnam Style (+1)
2. One More Night (-1)
3. Some Nights (=) 4. Blow Me (One Last Kiss) (+1)
5. We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (-1) 6. As Long As You Love Me (+1)
7/8. Too Close (+2/+1)
7/8. Whistle (-1/-2) 9. Die Young (DEBUT)
10. Good Time (-2)
Why " Taylor Swift - Begin Again " is not predicted in the top 10 ?
