I can't with the people implying that the police would teleport their asses to her house in no time flat. There is a significant amount of downtime between the actual call and when the police actually get to the location. I mean, I thought this was common knowledge.

The idea that police need the person to be missing for 24 hours to file a report is false.

It's sometimes used to heighten drama in TV shows or movies but it's not real life.

She's a minor, and especially if there were signs of a break-in, they wouldn't just say, well, let's sit around and wait until a day has passed before we look for her. We don't have a rule that you have to let kidnapping trails go cold before you investigate. Think, people.

There's a 5 year old that lives down the street from me that went missing about 4 days ago, and still hasn't been found, yet there hasn't been anything on the news, or any type of Amber Alert (that I'm aware of)

Not to mention she was the most adorable little kid ever, and she had the prettiest smile, and cutest little babyhairs.
