I didn't say ALL women can't. I mean that men do rock better that's why there's almost no women in bands.. but there are exceptions like the ones you mentioned

Chris Brown was very unique but he kind of shot himself in the leg...he has the ability to be creative but he likes playing it safe for his standards
Usher it unique as well.....and id also say Bruno Mars
Women have it easy...they could dress up as men and kis each other and get away with it...Men can't wo backlash

It's funny, as soon as I saw the title of this thread think of, like, Bruno Mars, Chris Brown and Usher. Then I get here and I immediately I see people saying everyone's generic but them.

Was thinking more of a male Dev.
Yet then again we have people like Kid Cudi, A$AP Rocky.. just not mainstream enough I guess

Not all male popstars are generic. Adam Lambert, Sam Sparro and Jake Shears each are more critically acclaimed than Justin Timberlake AND Usher so let's not

do you even listen to his albums??? If not then please don't make such ignorant statements like this
If that's the case then I'll say N'sync made generic music...like every artist does generic a couple of times

DJ, More & Scream are generic, but not Numb. And sure he has and will 1-3 generic Songs on his Album but every mainstream artist has it. I said: He isn't generic because some of y'all act like he is JUST generic and this isn't true.
Climax, Dive, I Care For U, Lemme See, Twisted, What Happened To U, I.F.U. 2nd Round, Hot Thing, Say The Words, Dive etc. are not generic Songs.

The Top 1000 Most Critically Acclaimed Artists of All Time
#228 Justin Timberlake
Usher didn't make the top 1000, but he's still ranked:
#1405 Usher
Sam isn't ranked, while Adam and Jake don't even have artist pages.

Anyways, back on topic, I'm so sick of ATRL saying male pop stars are basic when the top gurls other than maybe 2 of them all follow the same trends, use the same producers, do the same **** on stage and release the same type of albums. And that's NO SHADE at all! There are different levels of male popstars just like there are different levels of female popstars. For example JT/Usher on the top level, then Bieber and Chris Brown on the next, then Bruno and Adam, then the Taio's and Pitbulls.

His debut, "8701," "Raymond V Raymond," and "Versus" were generic, bar like 3 songs at best. The others are balanced.
"Numb" is generic, it's a "Without You" clone. Half of the Urban/R&B songs you listed are generic as well.

Justin's the most critically acclaimed mainstream artist of the millennium and the most critically acclaimed act from his generation for a reason (and Usher's far from being on Justin's level.)
Scissors Sisters are ranked at #725.

We already have one, but until the music industry and his fellow gays start supporting him, he'll never get the success he deserves
