Tbh, I don't really care too much about music videos, yes, it would be nice if we got more substantial music vids, but it's not that big of a deal to me. I've always liked how Kelly doesn't follow the typical popstar rules, and I find her attitude to be refreshing in this business (though it can be a tad fustrating at times). I am a Kelly fan because of her music and her voice, I am a Kelly stan because of her personality. In addition, at Kelly stans bashing her more than the haters. Is that customary in fanbases?

You're aware of one DRASTIC difference, though, right? One was contractually obligated and one had a clear option. One has stated many times she has no desire to be an actress and one was clearly trying it. So, that argument is irrelevant. I'm not saying Cher isn't a good actress, but I wasn't talking about her.

I abs. Agree with you on this post but it's tough love from us most of the time. Others might agree with me but I dont think Kelly realizes her full potential. It's awesome she's not pulling shock stunts and gimmicks like other artists do for #1s but it's tough as a Kelly stan when she's not recognized as One of the top female popstars by the GP

At least we're not a typical delusional fanbase that loves every garbage their artists puts out. If we dont like something, the Mafia knows

Yes, as a Kelly stan it is fustrating that she isn't as successful as some other singers who are far less talented. Talent doesn't always equal success though, unfortunately

You know that more than one person is involved with a movie, right?

You can't say Kelly/Cher/Christina/whoever is good/bad based on the rating of the entire movie.

But it's better for her to be as successful as she is right now and not more. It almost broke her when she was the world's biggest star back in 2005. Besides, she was so huge in the US after Stronger was released that she was so popular that she didn't have time to tour worldwide.
