Kelly has one hell of an epic ballad though: Because of You. It's her only real hit song in my country. It's used on tv a lot and whenever I mention to strangers that I'm a fan of Kelly they answer: "Oh she's the one who sang BoY, right? She still makes music?"
I used to get the same reaction from strangers, but Stronger changed everything because it had vietnamese in the music video So she litterally has 2 hits in my country: Because Of You & Stronger (What Doesnt Kill You)
He's right, Howard his production is so loud and cringe worthy most of the time. I'm going to be sad if it's him. When Kelly writes a song with her bandmates it's usaully produced by one of them.
I didn't say I wouldn't be glad if it sounds like Get Up The only thing I don't like about this song is lyrics, which probably would make this song flop.
Seems like you just haven't listened to her songs. And she has some good performances. And sure she had vocal power, I remember I saw a video where she holds ultra high note for 25-30 seconds. Can Kelly? Or you?
