Well to be honest it depends on what you consider quality and most generic songs aren't as good as others in my personal opinion... I don't know how to explain it. I mean I wouldn't mind her doing a couple of generic hits as long as they're good and as long as it balances out well with the rest of the album. i'd say unbroken for example was a half quality kind of generic music mixed with desperate tries for hits e.g ANL, WTB, YMOS
I'd much prefer a song being a mix of mainstream with a twist that makes it original and different; something that would make her stand out. that's the one thing I'm hopping she achieves next album.
