Samsung phones have always looked like cheap plastic with awkward designs.
Apple products are always refined and elegant.

S3 looks outed and feels cheap.
iPhone 5 feels like it's worth every penny.

The reason why people choose Samsung. My cousins are the exact same thing. They want an iPhone, but can't afford it. So they choose the cheaper one.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus. I'm upgrading to i-phone 5 this Friday. Cannot wait. I love the Galaxys but one thing I notice is that their screens scratch too easily and their design is far too cheap. I cannot complain about Android and its apps though, it is flawless. If the Android system was in the i-phone, I'd be in heaven

I'm actually paying the exact same price I paid when I had the iPhone.

The tired argument that people have android because they are poor or not high class like iphone users This kind of mentality is why the iphone user base are often times referred to as"sheep." Iphone 5 and S3 cost the same, even if you want more storage, with both you'll have to pay more. With Iphone you opt for the iphone with more storage. With S3 (and most androids) you just simply buy a larger mini-sd card (up to 64gb )
Now come down that high horse. Freedom of choice with android, it caters to the masses the low end and the high end. Please now.

I only buy phones constructed out of metal and glass, so I would choose the iPhone. Purely from an industrial design standpoint, the iPhone is so obviously the better designed phone it's in the Museum of Modern Art in New York City). The S3 is constructed out of plastic because it is a cheaply constructed and cheaply designed phone. Now, if I were to integrate the OS, I would give Android a slight edge for it's infinite functionality and improving design (not to say that iOS isn't a wonderful OS). I would prefer an iPhone 5 with a more polished version of Android.

Let me just say I have had the Galaxy S3 for 2 weeks now, and I am ready to throw the damn thing out the window. I cannot wait for my iPhone 5 to get here.
The S3 has a lot of great features (that I do not use) and then freezes on the littlest things. If I get a facebook notification and a text it will freeze for a good minute or two. So annoying.

Apple isn't the only company to do so. HTC does the same thing, I had a phone from them made from pure aluminum and teflon. Still is in perfect condition. HTC used to be the biggest android maker, until Samsung did their thing.
Also there is Nokia, known for the best phone designs. Apple isn't the only one using industrial design.

i too once had the iphone 4s. It was a pretty sturdy sexy phone...but a boring OS. To each his own.

You don't "use industrial design". Industrial designers "designed" the Galaxy S3, the Nokia Lumia phones, and the HTC phones. However, Samsung's designers are lazy and uninspiring. Their designs are nice, but cheaply constructed. HTC once designed the very nice phone you own. However, HTC makes their current top end offerings out of plastic and glass. Nokia also constructs their beautiful phones out of plastic, albeit they use a higher quality version (I forget the name) that basically ensures all layers of plastic are died the color you see on the outside. So, if you scratch your Nokia Lumia, the scratch will remain the same color as the phone. Still, it's plastic. I don't like plastic, regardless of how high grade it is. The material itself is used to cut costs.

The iPhone 5 is the best built phone I've ever laid my hands upon. The only room for criticism is iOS, which is aging.

I only support American phone companies, and out of Motorola, LG, and Apple. iPhone 5 is the winner, so I'll be purchasing in upcoming weeks.

LG is South Korean and every single technology company constructs at least 50% of each product overseas, with our money going to those countries. You cannot escape outsourcing if you want good affordable technology.

I was with iPhone for 2 years now and it's the SAME sh*t it was when I first decided to buy it. iOS is so much of a waste of money with little to no difference of what they were when they first came out. I used to hate android.. and still don't favor it, but honestly, this SGS3 sh*ts so hard on iPhone. I used to say it sucked until I got my hands on it. That iOS6 update had me desperate for change.
Now after seeing my phone my boyfriend regrets Pre ordering the iPhone 5. I wonder why.

i personally dislike the S3 and opted for the HTC variant, Evo LTE. its a better build quality and i prefer the customized skin.
I did try out the S3, it would have been my other choice but didnt like the build quality.. it was a deal breaker. Nonetheless im willing to forgive Samsungs atrocious design since Android nonetheless slays effortlessly over ios.

The only thing American about it are the people designing the phone.. Why are the factories in Brazil and China.. oh duh. Apple is just as American as Samsung. They all are the same ****. they all are abusing the childrens in China.
