I can´t at the comparisons. Nelly never was as big as Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry or Ke$ha in US. Her music was folk, r&b, pop, reggae, before she released Loose. People only stan for that era. But i don´t think the same people who loved Promiscous, Maneater, etc. are here for TSI or Folklore.

Nelly during the Loose era was definitely bigger than Ke$ha at least. Maybe even Katy. She was one of the biggest pop girls in 2006/2007, just like Katy is right now.

And she was popular before Loose aswell, mainly because of I'm Like a Bird.

I know it seems ridiculous the suggestion that a Ke$ha album would debut with less than 6,000, but this suggestion would have also seemed ridiculous about Nelly in 2007, yet it's actually happened.

She was nowhere near as popular as Katy. Ke$ha is questionable, maybe. Only "Promiscuous" and "Say It Right" were huge from her album.

But Katy and Ke$ha are hitmakers. Nelly only did that for one era. Her other albums are not Top 40 material, except a few songs like I´m Like A Bird and Try.

In less than 5 years Katy already has more hits and album sales than her.
