I'm fine with it but I'd rather it be later on in life. I mean it certainly depends on what aspect of Joni's career they focus on but her major breakthrough didn't start till she was 27.

Filming apparently starts in January, Taylor was already listed as casted Joni on that agent's site for auditions posted a couple months ago. Also all the Joni Mitchell lyrics, the pic of meredith with the "Girls Like Us" book on her stand in the background, all make it clear.
