23. "Handle Me"
Average: 7.8769
High: 10 (5x) - Drowned_World, bleuwaffle, Eric., zombaland, Ace Reject
Low: 5 (2x) - Konichiwa, madonnas
Synopsis
Robyn decribes "Handle Me" as a feminist anthem because it's about a guy who thinks he's cool, but she thinks he's really not. She softly lists many reasons as to why he isn't great over thudding beats and string instruments. The song was first a 2005 promo single in Sweden for her self-titled, fourth album but it later became a full European single. It was later released in the States as the second single from the album in 2008. It charted all across Europe, even reaching number 5 on the US Dance charts.
Standout Line
"You gotta make me feel you got my back but you're a selfish narcissistic psycho freaking boot-licking Nazi creep, and you can't handle me"

I mean, this one is cute but it shouldn't be top 25. It's 7 material. I'm also kind of baffled that we're almost top 20 and the songs still aren't getting more than 4 or 5 tens from the 26 participants. Oh well. It's probably because the songs that made it this far were less polarizing and got a bunch of 7s and 8s.
And congrats to jqnetto and castle13 for not being the lowest scorers for once.

Good placement, "Handle Me" is a good song, but nothing fantastic.

Konichiwa went in on his fave.
Basically all the Robyn songs left are 9.0+ for me so I'm ok with their placements.
"Handle Me" is amazing. The way it uses the guitars and strings to its advantage to enhance her delivery from lighthearted to sober it's remarkable.

It was a good run.
22. "Kill"
Average: 7.9462
High: 10 (7x) - HausOfJabril, lovesong, MP2K, Konichiwa, Eric., zombaland, ManDown
Low: 2 (2x) - jqnetto, castle13
Synopsis
"Kill" is the eighth track on kin and it shows iamamiwhoami perhaps at their darkest. "Come on, just kill this" is repeated over somber electronics and spiraling, almost xylophone-like synths near the end. This is iam's sixth track to depart, leaving them with three remaining.
Standout Line
"Creeping, throbbing, shot of them corner toward / Trying to part their whispers from shouting encore"

Now this one was a bit more polarizing. The amount of tens is surprising! I could never fully get into it, I gave it a 7.
The next track's elimination is horrifying. If you know me, then you'll probably know who it's by.

"Kill" is boring, I'm not ashamed to be the lowest score this time.

Ridic.
21. "Silent Shout"
Average: 7.98
High: 10 (6x) - Stevie, bleuwaffle, lovesong, sticks, madonnas, Eric.
Low: 2 (1x) - electroheart (seek help)
Synopsis
Serving as the first single and the title track from The Knife's third album, "Silent Shout" was released back in 2006. The song is lush, dreamy, and dark. The perfect taste of the album. "Silent Shout" the song and the album ended up on MANY 2006 year-end lists. It even made it to number 12 on the US Dance charts. This marks the death of the Silent Shout singles in our rate and the near-death of The Knife, who only have "Heartbeats" remaining.
Standout Lines
"In a dream I lost my teeth again, calling me woman and half man / Yes, in a dream all my teeth fell out, a cracked smile and a silent shout"

"Be Mine!" and "Handle Me" deserved better. I'm sure there are other Robyn songs that could have been eliminated instead.

I mean, am I the only one baffled at The Knife having one song in the top 20 when Robyn has nine and Lykke has 6?
Those two chicks make up 3/4 of the top 20. And Fever Ray having nothing in the top 30?

Only 6 tens? I'm appalled, I was almost sure 'Silent Shout' would be much higher, something like top 10.
Probably "Heartbeats" will go out soon, but I hope it be at least in the top 15.
"Call Your Girlfriend" for the win.
