- Sometimes - 3,452,000
- (You Drive Me) Crazy - 4,210,000
- Born to Make You Happy - 3,690,000
- From the Bottom of My Broken Heart - 1,090,000

"Gimme More" received mixed reviews, "Womanizer" got a lot of critic disdain for being repetitive, immature, sounding like "Ooh Ooh Baby" among a bunch of other negative reviews. Some even compared it to Katy Perry who was just breaking through at the time. The others were generally positive, with criticisms here and there.
I believe "TTWE" got hate from Slant (usual) and PopJustice (music forum) with predictable Ke$ha comparison. Other than that, it's held to a high regard amongst her discography, much higher than "Womanizer".

POM and HIAM also were critically acclaimed.
Circus also had very good reception.
But IMO britney doesn't have a really critically acclaimed song (the truly definition of a critical acclaimed song) since "Toxic"

Britney should have gotten 3 Grammys by now.
- Best Female Pop Vocal Performance - "...Baby One More Time"
- Best Dance Recording - "Toxic"
- Best Dance Recording - "Womanizer"

We don't have a reliable source for worldwide single sales and those are just adjusted Mediatraffic numbers (and points =/= sales.) "From the Bottom of My Broken Heart" was one of the 10 bestselling physical singles of the 2000s in the US with sales of slightly under 1 million. It was harder to sell singles back then.
...Baby One More Time ≈7 million
Sometimes ≈1.5 million
(You Drive Me) Crazy ≈2 million
Born to Make You Happy ≈1.5 million
From the Bottom of My Broken Heart ≈1.25 million

Blackout didn't get a grammy because of her stupid label and the horrible submissions they did for Blackout.
It should've been submitted for best dance / electronic album

IMO "Sometimes" reached the 2M mark and "You drive me crazy" sold less than 2M.

I find it funny that her pre-digital singles are inflated and her singles released in the digital era are deflated. It'd be more believable if it were vice-versa.
