I still support them, but realistically they aren't built for Japan.
YG has them working their butts off for no reason.
Their appeal is more ready for the US market which will only offer them more opportunities if they break through.
Like English artists can sell 500k without all the unnecessary mess.

Why not have them break through there and other countries via the US first?

Spewing the most in that dandy pink italicized font. LEIK they're more than likely not going to do well and we KNOW IT. SURE it would be nice if they did, there's no denying that. But at the end of the day we are hear for the material, and their Japanese remakes are horrible. Without the material there is nothing in it for us. We would get a lot more material if they were to try and break into the US and release English albums, singles or even actually release their second K-single and their comeback album instead of wasting their time. That's all that we are saying. No one is hating on, or refusing to support them.

T-ara rejected VVIP treatment from their promoters in Hong Kong for their upcoming showcase.

The girls will be leaving for Hong Kong on the morning of September 17th for their Hong Kong showcase at the Star Hall the next day on the 18th. According to Core Contents Media, the girls’ Hong Kong promoters had offered to drive each of the girls in separate Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, and Ferrari limousines per member.

Despite the offer, the members rejected them, explaining, “We’re really grateful that they’re giving us such great treatment, but we would rather move on a bus with our staff.”

TBH, I've always wondered why 2ne1 flops so much in Japan. I don't pay attention that much to their promo schedule so maybe that has something to do with it?

This may be their worst performing song in JPN to date.
If they're going to promote there, I'd rather it'd be with English material.
It's clearly a language they're stronger at, and Will's group (BEP) has been doing okay there.
These remakes are just not the tea though.

10,000 copies in the US seems probable.
