It says "premiere" there. Unless you were out and someone's been using your account this last week, it's pretty obvious that's not updated, as The Voice premiered last week.
Btw why are french newspapers saying Britney got humiliated by Christina?
Did X factor flop?
cuz that's what i've been hearing on french news since friday...

3.5/5
How could you give Sail Fish a 1? That song puts me in a majestic mood. The only song that deserves a 1 is Big Fat Bass.
5: Hold It Against Me, Till the World Ends, Inside Out, Trouble for Me, Up N' Down, Gasoline, Selfish, He About to Lose Me.
4: I Wanna Go, Trip to Your Heart, Criminal, How I Roll.
3: (Drop Dead) Beautiful, Don't Keep Me Waiting, Seal it With A Kiss.
2: ---
1: Big Fat Bass.
Being "cohesive" or "solid" doesn't always equal "good". Where Blackout succeeded, Femme Fatale failed miserably - It just lacks soul.
FF didn't fail!
of course if you compare it to blackout,we already know the winner
but FF served its prupose,a cute cohesive, dance pop album
I agree about the lack of soul tho, anybody could have sung those songs
i mean trouble for me demo>official
I like Femme Fatale very much. I would say it's my 3rd favorite Britney album, after Blackout and Oops...I Did It Again (the unsung hero of her discography). It has a nice eb and flow, and features some of the best and most exciting instrumentals of her career. The highs are HIGH, and it middles out, instead of bottoms out. Meaning, the lows of the album are middling rather than falling into the depths of Mmm Papi Land.
It came out the way it was supposed too, it wasn't trying to have soul or be something bigger than it was, as she put it:
Quote:
I wanted to make a fierce dance record where each song makes you want to get up and move your body in a different way. That’s what I want from the music I listen to. This record is for the clubs, or something you play before you go out at night.
And it was exactly that
Her worst album is Circus, its good vs bad ratio is disappointing. For me that is her most disappointing album. She was coming off the back of a hard year, and she did nothing to utilize that and put it into her work, it could have been her masterpiece, but instead they rushed released an album that came off like a collection of songs, rather than a album.
It has Circus, Womanizer, Unusual You, Blur, and Kill The Lights..but outside of that, the rest range from filler to middle of the road to disastrous. Thank God for the bonus tracks, Trouble and Phonography. I'm appreciative of what the era brought, two huge hits singles, two amazing videos, and a massive tour. But other than that I don't use that album. Even out of the tracks I listed as good, the only ones I return to are Circus, Womanizer, and Phonography. The rest

I wouldn't be so harsh, since after Britney sang those songs, they automatically turn weird on anyone else's voice, but I guess it's safe to say FF is the only Britney album where several tracks don't sound like they were, how I can say this... Well, like they weren't exactly made only for Britney - They don't SCREAM "Britney" like her songs usually do.

Exactly, and that's why I don't like Femme Fatale very much. It doesn't FEEL like a Britney album. The only song on Femme Fatale that's 100% Britney is "Inside Out."
Not only do the rest of the 15 tracks on Femme Fatale not represent Britney, but you can arguably say that the demo artists sang the song better because it was probably meant for them in the first place:
Say what you want about "Circus" but at least all of the tracks felt authentically Britney. I couldn't go through the entire album of "Circus" and say 'that song sounds like Ke$ha or that song sounds like a Bonnie McKee song.'

I have to agree with you on this.
I used to trash Circus a lot, and it's still not one of Britney's best efforts - aka it's still put together in a week and not "cohesive" or "solid" - but at least I can say it is Britney Spears, the Princess of Pop.
There isn't a single song on Femme Fatale that makes me jump like crazy with excitment thinking "now that's my Britney!!" like I do, for example, with the epic 'Circus'.

Well if "authentically Britney" means a collection of half baked demos, thrown messily togther to make Christmas sales to top off a comeback, than yes Circus is authentically Britney.
I'm not giving Circus any credit for being a landfill of perfected mediocrity..

Exactly!!! And so true with that last point -- nothing on Femme Fatale gives me chills outside of the HIAM breakdown.
The chills I got when Britney hit that final note in "My Baby."
The belting she did (with Lady GaGa, nonetheless) during the climax of "Quicksand."
The retro feel and moans during the bridge on "Mmm Papi." I mean, that guitar rift.
The dance break on "Circus."
...And I love how the uptempo tracks were club bangers without being electropop. I mean, Circus is the ****ing tune without a hint of autotune, dubstep or excessive synths.

Isn't Britney the definition of "mess" when it comes to her music career lately, though?
In all seriousness... I still use 'Womanizer', 'Circus', 'Unusual You', 'Amy', 'Mannequin' and 'Phonography' over any "Femme Fatale" song.

It all comes down to the fact that I - and I'm sure, the general public, too - want Britney to be Britney instead of trying to mingle.
